A FAMILY BUSINESS
Mom and Me Treats has been delighting customers since 1995. Founded by Laura Swan, a retiree eager to pursue her passion for making people happy through their appetite for Good Home Cooked Food, she discovered a dynamite recipe for Homemade Peanut Brittle. With a few of her own special ingredients, she created some of the BEST Peanut Brittle in the world! Perfecting her recipe, Laura decided to establish her own candy factory, which she affectionately named Mom and Me Treats. Over the years, she has built a fantastic reputation by selling her Homemade Peanut Brittle and introducing other Kentucky treats, including Cashew Brittle, throughout various parts of the US. Laura showcased her Peanut Brittle at craft shows, local conventions, and in stores in Louisville, KY, such as Kroger, Value Markets, and A Taste of Kentucky. Mom and Me Treats will always remain a family-owned business. Following Laura's passing in 2021, her oldest granddaughter, Evonne Jeffries, has embraced her legacy, continuing to spread the joy of her grandmother's delicious Homemade Peanut Brittle.
